Software Standardization

On this page the Network Security Group of ETH Zurich shares documentation about software standardization: why standardization is important, when and where a software project should standardize and how the process in fact works. More specific information about standardization of search and discovery projects and privacy and trust enhancing technology is offered in the respective guides.
The documentation was developed for technology projects funded by the Next Generation Internet R&D initiative, specifically the NGI Zero Discovery grant program for improving search and discovery as well as the NGI Zero PET grant program for privacy and trust enhancing technology. The content can also help readers more generally interested or involved in standardizing software for online search and discovery.
